Reducing the risk of Coronavirus
We would like to reassure you that outdoor pursuits are much safer than indoor activities (shopping etc). In the current climate we will adhere to social distancing guidelines but would like to reassure you that Public Health England state that outdoor pursuits are much safer than indoor activities (shopping etc). Your safety is paramount and therefore we have considered how we can best manage the risks associated with the transmissiion of Covid 19. We will do our very best to ensure that all rides are relaxed & enjoyable, whilst minimising covid 19 related risks.
We carry hand sanitiser for staff and customer use and would recommend you use it upon arrival and departure. Customers may wear face masks and gloves if they feel more comfortable doing so, but we have discontinued use of both as all rides take place outside and this reduces the risk of transmission of Covid 19 and during the ride the pony handler will be facing away from you, with more than 1 metre distance between handler and rider.
We also ensure that all of our pony handlers only attend work if they feel fit and well and have not knowingly been exposed to the Coronavirus.
This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it is up to date.
