Dear all,
we know these are difficult times for everyone at the moment and so I fully appreciate you even reading this post. For those of you who don't know us, Pony Pursuits are based in Oxford & have a second location between Oxford & Bicester. We offer access to ponies at a "grass roots" level. We are no elitist and with us age, experience and ability to pay are no barrier. We know how much "pony time" benefits so many people including all of the lovely volunteers who are what really allow Pony Pursuits to function in the first place!
Winter is always a challenging time for us as bookings are scarce but costs are high. Ding the winter months, the ponies literally eat ALL the profits :) We have 8 ponies to care for including our retired pony Sam, plus our 3 youngsters who are pony pursuits ponies of the future. Our 4 working ponies whose names will be familiar to the children of some of the parents reading this! Teddy, Jubilee, Mr Tash & Spice.
We are working really hard to make our new field, just outside Shotover Country park, Stock proof and safe for the ponies so that we can restart our Woodland pony rides which ceased in 2022 when we moved to our new location.
